With permission from the owner, Linda was lucky enough to be able to explore this little cottage on a farm on the Bellarine Peninsula. There was the suggestion of human occupation with the two chairs on the veranda, a clothes line with pegs and other bits and pieces lying about. However, it was unoccupied and it looked as though the previous owners had left almost in haste. Linda was drawn to the two empty chairs on the veranda, their view taking in an uninterrupted vista of stunning scenery and countryside. It was comfortable and inviting, even though the cottage was decayed and disheveled, punctuated by the knee-high grass that surrounded the exterior. Stories to tell, intriguing and mysterious, this artwork captures a fleeting moment in time, but leaves you with warmth and security.
