Daniela Rodriguez

Daniela Rodriguez is a photographer and artist based in Torquay on the beautiful surf coast.  Her work combines fine art and documentary photography. She is inspired by the people and places that surround her, and the connection she has to community and the natural environment. Her work ranges from fine art photography and community arts projects, to art in public spaces. 

Daniela was born and Chile and grew up in Melbourne.  Her passion for photography began over 15 years ago when she studied analogue black and white photography and where she fell in love with the darkroom and the process of manipulating light. Daniela also has a Bachelor in Creative Arts Industries, which has allowed her to pursue projects investigating community and belonging as well as community arts development.

Since moving to the Surf Coast, Daniela has been influenced by the local culture and has been documenting the stillness and beauty of the everyday along the surf coast.
