In this piece, Luke channels the 1980's TV hit “Miami Vice”, to create these two fearsome characters – who have a “take 'em at all costs attitude” gunning for revenge. This action duo aren't afraid to break the rules to get the job done.
The rendering techniques used in this piece are a bit of a departure from Luke’s usual work creating an illusion of a dream-like floating experience. A refreshingly brilliant impact and a exceptional use of those signature vivid colours.
Luke’s biggest challenge when creating this piece, was the detail in the fur. Hours and hours were spent creating the realistic affect, but the perfectionist in him enjoyed the tedium of high frequency detail.
